Robert Mungo has been in the
tax preparation business since 1974. His first firm operated
under the name of Mungo Tax Service and was located in his
home. The business grew very rapidly and after a few years
Glenda Mungo, his wife, joined the firm. The firm was moved
to a new office site in 1986 at 1107 Chesterfield Ave. The
beautiful office building was built in 1910 as a personal
residence. Even though the building is now more than 100
years old it is still serving the firm well.
The firm has experienced
several changes throughout the 36 years. Mrs. Mungo became a
homemaker in 1996, and the name changed several times as
different partners came and went. In 2011 Mr. Mungo's son,
Chris joined the firm, and the name was changed once again
to Mungo and Son Tax and Financial Services LLC. Mrs. Mungo
has also rejoined the firm to make it truly a family
business once again.
